IESCO BILL CALCULATOR

You can also see the IESCO bill unit rates for home users in the tariff schedule. These rates show how much you pay for each unit of electricity. Knowing these prices helps you understand your monthly bill and get a better estimate when you use the IESCO bill calculator.

How To Use IESCO Bill Online Calculator?

Using the calculator is simple. Follow these steps:

  • Select your company from the list (for example, IESCO).
  • Type your units consumed in the input box.
  • Click on the “Calculate Bill” button.
  • Wait for the result. You will see an estimated bill with the main charges.

You can change the number of units and press the button again to see how your bill goes up or down.

How to Find Your Units for the Month?

If you do not know your units, you can find them in two ways.

1. Using Your Meter

  • Look at your meter and note the current reading.
  • Check your last month’s bill and note the previous reading.
  • Subtract the previous reading from the current reading:
  • Units Consumed = Current Reading − Previous Reading

The answer is your units for this month.

2. Using Your Last Bill

On your last bill, you can also see:

  • previous reading
  • present reading
  • units used

You can use that as a guide to guess your normal monthly units and then enter a similar number in the calculator.

Which Tariff Is Used in the Calculator?

The calculator uses the NEPRA tariff for home users. These unit rates are the same for many government electricity companies, including IESCO.

  • Small home users with low usage fall into protected slabs, which have lower per-unit rates.
  • Other home users fall into unprotected slabs, which have higher per-unit rates as units increase.

For full and detailed unit rates for all types of users (residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural), you can visit the NEPRA Tariff page on this website. That page shows the complete rate list.

Why Use the IESCO Bill Calculator?

The calculator gives you several benefits:

  • Better planning – You can see an estimate of your bill before it comes.
  • Usage awareness – You can see how much more you pay when your units go up.
  • Less stress – You are not surprised by a very high bill at the end of the month.
  • Simple to use – No need to do long manual math or remember all slab rates.

How Accurate Is the Result?

The result from the IESCO bill calculator is an estimate, not the exact bill.
It is based on:

  • Your entered units
  • current unit rates
  • common fixed charges and tax

However, your real bill may be different because of:

  • Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA)
  • quarterly adjustments
  • TV fee
  • extra taxes or duties
  • any old unpaid amount

So, use this calculator as a guide, not as a final bill.

Simple Formula Used by the Calculator

The calculator follows a basic method:

  1. Units Consumed = Current Reading − Previous Reading
  2. Units are split into slabs based on the tariff.
  3. Base Charge = Sum of (units in each slab × rate for that slab)
  4. Estimated Bill ≈ Base Charge + fixed charges + GST + some other common charges

The exact rules can be complex, but this simple system gives a close idea of your bill.
